Did you know???
- Motorboat operators between 12-17 years of age who wish to operate engines over 25 horsepower must have either:
Watercraft Operator's Permit, or
someone at least 21 years old on board who is within reach of the controls
- Personal Water Craft Operators 13 years of age must have either:
a Watercraft Operator’s Permit and be under continuous observation by someone at least 21 years old , or
have someone at least 21 years old on board
- Person Watercraft Operators 14 to 17 years of age must have either:
Watercraft Operator’s Permit, or
have someone at least 21 years old on board

online.
Did you know???
- In effect in June 2005, Minnesota requires all children under the age of 10 to wear a life jacket while boating
