Did you know???

• Motorboat operators between 12-17 years of age who wish to operate engines over 25 horsepower must have either:
  Watercraft Operator's Permit, or
  someone at least 21 years old on board who is within reach of the controls
  
• Personal Water Craft Operators 13 years of age must have either:
  a  Watercraft Operator’s Permit and be under continuous observation by someone at least 21 years old , or
  have someone at least 21 years old on board 

• Person Watercraft Operators 14 to 17 years of age must have either:
  Watercraft Operator’s Permit, or
  have someone at least 21 years old on board

Boat Minnesota has the official online boating safety course.  Take the Watercraft Operators Permit
         online.

Did you know???

• In effect in June 2005, Minnesota requires all children under the age of 10 to wear a life jacket while boating
