- Boat Access: Public access is located at the south end of the county park

- Fishing: There is a fishing pier located at the south end of the park. There is a designated shore fishing area along the south shore of the lake near the intersection of McCarrons Blvd. South and Western.
Species present: Walleye, Northern Pike, Largemouth Bass, Bluegill, Crappie, Bullheads and Yellow Perch.
McCarron's has suffered at least on partial winterkill. Recent efforts by the watershed district are hoped to prevent a recurrence of the problem.
Lake McCarrons contains Eurasian water milfoil. Please remove all visible plant material from your
boat, trailer and boating equipment before leaving the lake. Present confirmed 2000
